Our program, and lacrosse in NM in general, continues to grow!!! As evidence of this, our program has to split up this weekend to compete in two locations. For any parents of the younger squads (U11 and under), you may have noticed that playing time was at a premium for our boys.
Splitting our teams up this weekend, while presenting a few logistical issues, is the right thing to do for our boys and girls to maximize playing time and their overall experience.
With all of that in mind, we did attempt to move players around between teams to ensure that families are going to one site or the other...as much as possible.
You can access the link to the schedule for the day here.
Great job everyone who played at our Rio Rancho scrimmages today, and a big thank you to Rio Rancho for hosting!!!
Just to clarify our schedule for Sunday 4/10...please click here.
Please note: 13a refers to 13 Blue; while 13b refers to 13 White. The jerseys and shorts will be there and available at 9am.
Looking forward to a great day of lacrosse!
Good evening everyone,
Great news! We've just confirmed our girls scrimmage with the Rio Rancho Youth Girls team on Friday, April 8th at 6:00 PM along side the boys at the Rio Rancho Sports Complex. This will be a "teaching" scrimmage for our first game as many of our girls are brand new to Lacrosse, as well as the Rio Rancho Girls. In efforts to allow more play time for all of our girls we will be loaning some players to create a full combined team.
We will be announcing this at each practice next week and hope that everyone can make it on a Friday night and will provide detailed instructions on the field location.
Just in time for our first official game on the 10th!
