Spring 2021

REGISTRATION OPEN

Registration is now open for our 2021 season.  We are limited by the current NM public health order to the number of athletes to coach ratio and consequently will have to fill the available spots on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please note, priority will be given to athletes who rolled over their 2020 dues to our 2021 season.

Currently, there are no fees associated with registration.  However, registration fees will be assessed to new or refunded players as our spring season develops and games are scheduled

Our coaches continue to work diligently to provide a safe and fun environment to learn and develop your athlete’s lacrosse skills and are currently in discussion with other state and regional programs to schedule games.

Official practices will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at Balloon Fiesta Park, Panel D4, 5:00PM-6:30PM, beginning March 15th for Boys

Girl's practices are located on Panel D7, same days and time, beginning February 22nd.

We look forward to seeing you all again soon; our mind, body, and spirit are nourished when we run, throw, and play.

The safety of AYL players and families is our top priority. Please help us to make this a smooth transition by completely following all of these guidelines. We are excited about the opportunity to return to lacrosse and to reconnect with our athletes.

ABQ Youth Lacrosse

Lacrosse is a gift and we want to share it.  Our mission is to help grow and develop the game of lacrosse in New Mexico by providing sound, fundamental lacrosse instruction to youth and high school players in a respectful, safe and fun environment while promoting sportsmanship, discipline and respect.

Our philosophy is best summarized by the following statement from those who gave us the game:

In Tewaarathon, their nation's history of lacrosse, the Akwesasne Mohawks describe a guiding principle for the sport, "Our grandfathers told us that when lacrosse was a pure game and was played for the enjoyment of the great spirit, everyone was important, no matter how big or how small, or how strong or how weak."

Our mind, body and spirit is nourished when we run, throw, and play.
